Unless otherwise noted, Special Events & Activities will be held at The Senior Center located at 339 E. Melrose Avenue.

Dances:                                                                          ABS Band- Feb. 3, 7-10pm, $5 pp at the door             East of Cheyenne- March 9, 7-10pm, $5 pp

Lunch and Learn Events:                                   Thursday, March 22, at 12:15 pm- "Advanced Directives" by Blanchard Valley Chaplain, Elizabeth Kelly. The program is Free and lunch is available in Senior Cafe for $4.00 per person.

Family Event: Feb. 6, 5:30pm-7:00pm. Featuring teaching artist Debra Fink-Bachelder. A hands on event offering information to parents and caregivers of students in grades 5-8 by utilizing bookmaking to reinforce students' social and academic skills. Free and includes a light dinner, reservations are suggested by calling the Arts Partnership at 419-422-3412 ext. 24.

It's Time To Talk-Issues for End of Life Conversations: February 16 from 1:00pm-3:30pm. Program will include a video and a panel of local professionals from several disciplines discussing how to apply principles raised in the video to our personal lives. HOLIDAY CLOSINGS
The Hancock Co. Agency on Aging will be closed on the following holidays in 2011. Mobile Meals and Senior Café are cancelled on any day the Agency is closed.

  • New Year's Day:  January 1
  • Martin Luther King Day:  January 17
  • Presidents' Day:  February 21
  • Good Friday:  April 22
  • Memorial Day:  May 30
  • Independence Day:  July 4
  • Labor Day:  September 5
  • Columbus Day:  October 10
  • Thanksgiving:  November 25 & 26
  • Christmas:  December 26

Inclement Weather Cancellations or Closings
When foul or threatening weather is in the forecast, tune into Findlay area radio stations for updates on cancellations or closings.  
    There will be no mobile meals delivery, Senior Cafe or regularly scheduled HCAOA/Senior Center activities on days when we are closed due to inclement weather.
